Just got back from the show. First reaction is that it seemed to be a little bit smaller than last year. Apart from that it was all the same stuff. Not much in the way of hand tools unless you where a turner. Watched some good demo's. A German lady turning a bowl, Ben Russell carving & Ron Fox on worktop routing. I then promptly purchased a Trend worktop jig! There were less modern furniture examples this year. Infact there where less examples altogether. Lots of turning going on, hard to resist getting a lathe. The worst part of the day was seeing the SIP Cordless Saw I bought last week for £35+del was on special for £20! Best part of the day was watching Ben Russell carving, which is something I want to get around to doing once this workshop is finished. Apart from the worktop jig, I managed to keep my hands in my pocket!
