Is anyone planning on going to the Alexandra Palace woodworking show next month? I'll probably waddle along on the Sunday as usual to try to scrape up some 'we can't be ***** to ship this lot back to the shop' bargains.

Yes, I'll be there! I do enjoy the Ally Pally show-not too big but great surroundings and well organised demo's with seating and telly screens.
See you there,
Philly :D

i'll probably pop along on the friday afternoon after work.

As it is just down the road from me it would be rude not to :D

So sunday would be good for me too, what time and where

I'm actually going to be in the UK that weekend so it would be great for me to meet up with a few people and put some faces to names. :D Am I right in saying that Sunday looks to be the best day?

I think many of the more serious woodmanglers tend to go on the Friday, but as a callow hobbyist I am working on Fridays and always go on the Sunday to see what shiny offers are available (although sadly this means I always seem to miss the rest of the UKW bunch).
Hopefully that will be remedied this year :)

Probably the Saturday for me (at the moment!) Sunday is "family day"
Philly :D

Bring 'em along! There's plenty of woodworking tools and demonstrations to keep the wife and kids happy! They'd love it! And the missus would be able to help you load that wide-bed stationary sander into the back of the car too, they always go on about doing things together on the weekends - well there you go!
