Advice on which lathe to buy

Hi folks,

I'm just setting out on my new passion and toying with which lathe to buy.
Previously enjoyed (aka secondhand) options available to me are:

1. Woodfast C1000 (green one, later badged as Record Power Maxi-1)
2. Record Power CL1
3. Record Power Coronet Herald

I expect to turn a variety of projects or various sizes.

I would welcome any advice you may have as to pros and cons.

Go for the Herald. It is a robust machine with a lot of options and expandability.
It is far superior to your other options.
