adverts thread

There's a thread by mock titled ADVERTS. When I click I get the attached msg.

The rest of the forum works ok.

I get the same thing on that particular post.

There are some wacky and irritating ads here nowadays and along with most folk, I have 'adverts' voluntarily turned off in my preferences.
Additionally, I have an ad-blocker on this computer that clobbers just about everything and it is this that is blocking that page..... oddly enough only that one, everything else loads.

If you have the same, disable it temporarily and you'll see that the OP has copied - and is querying - how to get shot of some other ads at the head of his post and it's this item that must be exciting my ad blocker into action.

It's yet another entertaining facet to this site.

I got that too - with AdBlock running (runs all the time). Paused it and hit reload and the page displayed.
