A suspended Ball

I have been looking with interest at your 2012 challenge. Can anybody enlighten me to what a suspended ball is, or looks like? I can't find anything on google.

Hi David,

I'm pretty much as stumped as you, although my guess would be along the lines of something ornamental incorporating a ball suspended by wires.

If anyone can enlighten us any further this would be a great help.

there are two things ye need to know of the suspended ball.

firstly .... it is .. suspended!
secondly .... it is .... a ball! #-o
