hello all, heres how i did a bangle today.
first of a piece of 4" ish square ash is mounted onto a screwchuck, i use a wooden spacer of yew to help me in this project- you'll see why further down.
turned into the round and in this case a 3" diameter hole is marked in pencil
hollow out the middle bearing in mind to avoid the screw of teh screw chuck
shape the outside
sand the inside and outside
part of the bangle and reverse chuck it onto the scrap to clean up the back edge.this is where my wooden spacer comes in handy on the screw chuck, it prevents the bangle sitting next to metal.
shape and sand the back edge and thats it youre all done.
