On Sunday evening I went to my allotment to dig a few nice small new potatoes for dinner. This is what I found lurking under the ground. It weighs just under 1 1/2 lbs or 672g.

I must use less fertiliser next year.

Interesting some of my spuds have been much bigger than normal this year, I think a lot has to do when they were planted, we were late with the early plant this spring, must have hit the weather conditions just right.
It will be interesting to see how the main crop do.

This was a first early, Arran Pilot, which has been in for 13 weeks.

My Grandfather grew this on his allotment during the 1930's, it made headlines at the time, apparently.
I must also add that all marks were natural.
