I am so.o.o fed up. Having had our flat on the market for a few months we finally agreed a purchase price. Unfortunately the surveyor who came along had seen the Whistleblower programme the previous evening and allowed his own prejudices/chips on shoulder/emotions to affect his judgement and seriously undervalued the flat as to quote him from a conversation ."these estate agents are all the same, grossly overvaluing property".

He even claimed that the building had major subsidence which is complete rubbish since we've just had a firm of top-rank professional surveyors and builders (they refurbished the Royal Albert Hall) crawling all over the building for the last year and they reported nothing about subsidence. So a formal complaint to RICS will happen but that does not help me.

I NEEDED the equity to fund my woodworking purchases :evil: :evil:

or in my case 'selectively' and subjectively
