A barometer for my dad's birthday...




just going back to the brass screw thread inserts, i bought these from Turners Retreat. Can anyone tell me if they're available more local to me (Southampton), or cheaper than T's/R and save on the P&P costs..?

Another great selection and variety - the barometer is possibly my personal favourite,but the grain alignment you've achieved on the boxes is nothing short of excellent

you need to scroll almost to the bottom of the page and find the items called "Egg Rings".


The one used in both the box's in my pics are the LARGE ones i.e. 42mm.


They're not cheap..! £4.50 a go.... i bought 2 large and 2 medium, with the P&P it came to 20 quid..!! Hence the enquiry re getting them closer to home and save P&P charge.
