Rutlands currently have their 900mm sash clamps on offer for a pack of six, £50, which with postage works out at less than a tenner each.

Well rated by Paul Sellers compared to other brands of the same clamp: https://paulsellers.com/2024/04/some-things-look-the-same/
And at £9.50 each delivered can't really argue!

is aluminium strong enough?

I can see a great benefit for light work as the good old Record ones are so heavy, by the time youve got half a dozen on the job is too heavy to move

Crikey I’ve never even thought of moving a glue up! I suppose if you need the space for the next job?
Really like my Record cramps, they are still in the UK and I’m waiting for them to ship over, the ones on offer here really don’t appeal- at all!

Thanks for the tip. One thing I would note is that the clamps Paul Sellers reviewed are the more expensive "sash clamps with feet" - you can see the style of handle is different.

No doubt these ones likely have thinner aluminium profile but as you say, for £9.50 it's not really a problem!

Good catch, hadn't spotted the handles being different. Could be the case then, but at that price, I'm happy even if it is the cheaper ones...
