Well nobody liked the legs on this so I've made some new ones. They are brass turned on the lathe. Amazingly all 8 still contact the floor

Love the bowl JT but i'm still not keen on the legs. :(
They are an improvement but look like bullets to me.
Could you put some shape into them somehow :?:

Considerably better Johnny, like to see a similar creation just stood on very fine tapered legs and yet another on a minimalist 3off legs.

Might know you could not resist decorative legs though.

Hi Johnny,

They are much better.

I like the decorative work on them, I think it compliments the bowl very well.

Malc :D

Very nice, vast improvements. Tho I too think it would look better with less legs. I bet it sells tho!! 8)

Hi Johnny,
I didn't comment on the first version but definitely did not like the feet.
Now this change has made all the difference and i really like the new feet and they now compliment the excellent job you have done on the bowl.
Regards,
Ian

Thanks for all your coments :D I'm glad you all see them as an improvement to the piece.

Paul, whats wrong with bullets? I wanted to retain the chunkyness of the original legs, they are there to be noticed, that was the idea behind the multi-leg design.

Pete, the texturing is just done with the dremel.
