Are they the same size (diameter)?
I have a 044 that's missing the long rods. Last night I checked the 405 that I have "custody" of, and its rods fit the 044. Can't use them though, as the 405 is in brand new condition (even though it's 30 years old), and I must keep it that way.
Do you know if the Stanley 45 rods are the same size (25/64")? I don't have one handy to check...
