Nice to see traditional bonnet hips, I'm in the Lenham area so not far from you, even though our place is over 500years old it's not listed, solid flint walls and Kent pegs with bonnet hips of course, you can see my home built sheds on the left.

Did you put any steel mesh in the slab to hold it together and help stop it cracking ?

Blister, Sorry I have just seen your question on my thread. To answer your question, no I didn't use steel reinforcing mesh but I used fiber reinforced C30 concrete. This provides better tolerance to cracking (e.g. no need to pre-cut) and it is easier to use as you don't have to lay the reinforcing mesh which needs to be done fairly accurately with a 200 mm thick slab.
