100mm Stayput Hose?

After recently getting a new lathe, I'm now on with setting up my dust extraction for sanding. I think I need a short piece of 100mm stayput/posable hose, but just how strong is it? I have a wood bell curve funnel that I'd like to re-use if possible, it's not that heavy really, but I've no idea how stiff the stayput hose will be and if it'll support a bit of weight on the end.

I reckon I only require about 6" of stayput hose, but the minimum that I've seen for sale online is 1 metre.

Any info and advice is appreciated.

I think I'll just have to buy some and keep my fingers crossed
