Hi JenI think, reading your last post, that if you want to get into miniature intricate design then CNC would be the only viable method.It looks like there are many helpers in this emerging hobby area and that the price of tooling is falling dramatically as interest increases and electronics become available.I don't see how any manual process can achieve the level of accuracy and detail that is required at this level. Certainly not with any economically viable repetition.I think you need to take one step back and widen your options before going down the wrong route entirely (bandsaws, millers, lathes etc.)Jim
