    Free Designs For Router Tables

Absolutely. Your opinion is seconded. This kind of scattergun/"unwary? please give me your money" is shameless plagiarism. Thornley Marshall? I note with some interest that all your posts so far have been "please can you help me?" on a variety of common woodworking power tasks. Are YOU...

HELP I need a new desktop PC

"Might be worth seeing if you can add more ram and get your current hard drive mirror copied onto a ssd drive if you can the speed increase will be dramatic." Too right. 8Meg is thin enough RAM for todays bloatware. And that hard drive is weedy. Think at least four times that size.

    Another Ban on the way?

Do some more digging People. The tobacco industry was clearly informed re smoking/cancer well before the early fifties publications. They, as a block, chose to suppress that knowledge. They, as a block, are responsible for many premature deaths. A similar P.R. stealth war is being waged by the...

    Some mistake, surely?

Debatable. Surely (Shirley?) one cannot have enough of that most discerning publication? Almost as good as vintage Alan Coren - when I come across tattered copies of "Punch" in charity shops. Facknell.

    Is this scots pine?

That's not parana. I have 8 boards of it; the material between the rings is much 'duskier' in parana. This stuff is a dead ringer for pitch pine. Like someone said above: the scent of resin when you saw it up is just wonderful.

    Some mistake, surely?

Me too Phil. I was taught Decimal, but spent 37 years teaching S.I. calculations: Litres, Angstroms, Microns and so forth, nae probs, but for the life of me, I cannot figure out my height or weight in it.

    For Sale Vintage bench press

Thank you Fergie; let me contact the family member and see if he's up for strapping it on a pallet. I'm in Northumberland and he's in Heysham, or I'd go round and do it for him.

Moving from Devon to SW Scotland

"Population density for..... Ni Ireland-355". Misleading. Out of (roughly) 1.9 million, a good million live in Belfast and the crowded Lagan Valley, and the satelite connurbations. If you then take Armagh, Derry, Ballymena and maybe Coleraine and The Triangle populations into account, you might...

    For Sale Vintage bench press

I'm selling this for a family member. Please note, this is NOT a copy of the lighter, non-geared Mancuna or Bradfast hand-cranked presses, this is a considerably more substantial beastie, and versatile. The gearing wll permit larger holes in metal. The location is Heysham/Lancaster area...
