    Here's a piece of the vat oak used to make the rails, stiles & ends of the shelves. This is the joint left from a piece around 5m long. These planks have been sticked for around 20 years prior to them being part of a cider vat. I still have the smell of vinegar in my nostrils from thicknessing...
