    Cot hardware

    I went to the local tip and searched through the wood section and got a load of old cots for peanuts. Different types of sliding mechanism on each. Freecycle is also a good source of old cots. I searched high and low for a shop and failed, this included ebay (except for teething rails)

    Forum Users Bandsaws

    Thought i'd add my tuppence here. I'm now the proud owner of a Record Power BS250 which I found was reasonably well setup on arrival. However some tinkering made an improvement to the cutting, but the biggest improvement I was was changing the blade for in my case one of the tuff saw blades...

    WOW, thank you all for making the time to respond, some useful information, i'll certainly look into the ones listed and suggested above. I was looking and reading some more last night and the Record Power BS250 appears to get alot of positive feedback and for around 170quid is around the top...

    Good point, i'm in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, so Dublin / Ireland is probably a little far to go. I started to look on ebay as you suggested, but my lack of experience of ever using one before worries me a little. IE if it does require a little attention, would I be able to resolve it. Hmm...
