    Hi Guys, Thanks for pointing out that its a 12" PT (I guess its in the name PT310 doh!). What I mean is will it cope with wide oak boards. Does it have the 'oomph' or will it grind to a halt unless only taking off 1mm a pass?? Cheers :lol:

    planer thicknesser

    Hi all, I need to buy a planer thicknesser, budget about a grand. I've got down to either the Kity 638 (have they gone bust?), Charnwood W585 or the Record PT300. I'd be very grateful for any feedback/advice. Thanks.
