    Hey there. Sadly uno used a supplier that’s gone out of business and don’t have records that far back. Speaking to the man at uni, he suggested sanding back carefully (it’s solid wood), and then trying laquer without a stain. And then if that was not the right colour, gradually trying slowly...

    Thanks everyone. It does actually have a couple of C bars, if that’s the right word, underneath but they were clearly not up to the job of holding the wood together. I’m gonna let it a climatise until Christmas and then send it then. Many thanks for everyone’s advice.
