    DW3401 tensioning spring arrangement

    Just obtained a De Walt DW3401, the tensioning arrangement looked odd, on dismantling I found an extra bit not shown on the manual exploded view, on checking with De Walt they say it’s nothing to do with this machine (but it was definitely fitted). Any ideas please?
