    Help: converting 230V (1ph) 50Hz machines to run on 220V (1ph) 60Hz supply

    Call up a good electrical motor repair shop and ask. A motor meant for 50 Hz will run 6/5 x faster at 60 Hz(typically), but that I think is seldom an issue.

    Help with Hydraulic Rod on Jone & Shipman 540

    Well, I can hang my head in shame, but I bent one of the hydraulic piston rods.... Any tips on how to unscrew the rod from the piston. It is on tight enough that I can not get it off. I want to make sure that I don't damage the piston if I clamp it down. Also, any tips on how to align the back...
