How to make cabinets like this?

Thanks all. I think you're right @HOJ and thanks for the image.

How to make cabinets like this?

Most of the cabinet videos I've watched show each cabinet as a distinct piece, fixing them together at the sides. If you're using say 18mm ply, this creates a double thick 36mm ply sides at each new cabinet. There is a place called Uncommon Projects which seem to do cabinets with only a single...

    How to fix this?

Thanks all, the veneer idea is nice, I'll see if I can manage that.

    How to fix this?

My wife's annoying dog has chewed a part of cabinet and I'd like to try and fix it. It doesn't look like a major job to me but I've never really done this sort of thing before so am looking for advice. Would it be a case of filling, sanding down and varnishing again? I've no idea how I'd get...

    CNC for kitchen cabinets

Worktop looks great, nice work! How do you find the accuracy of the Smartbench? I felt it was rated quite low compared to other CNC machines, even hobby ones (+/- 0.5mm).

    CNC for kitchen cabinets

Thanks both. Good to hear that the Shapeoko is up to the job. I think Yeti have just gone into administration so a bit precarious there anyway. I currently don't have a decent table saw so I'm still weighing up whether to go that route instead. If I do get a CNC it will be doing almost everything.

    CNC for kitchen cabinets

Not yet tbh. I'm still trying to finish my shed to house the CNC to build the kitchen units :D I still think I will get a basic CNC. Last time I looks it was between the Yeti Smartbench and the Carbide Shapeoko but I'll do more research once the shed is up (hopefully next week).

    Powder coated dining table frame

I'm comfortable cutting a piece of mdf into a slightly smaller rectangle but making a metal frame is beyond me I'm afraid.

    Powder coated dining table frame

I'm in West Cornwall but I said South West because I'm happy to drive to pick up.

    Powder coated dining table frame

Exactly why I'm trying to make it myself 😂

    Powder coated dining table frame

Hi all, I've been tasked with making a dining table similar to this (image below) and am trying to source the frame. Does anyone know where I can get something like this made? Ideally in the South West though if shipping is reasonable that is fine with me. Thanks!

    CNC for kitchen cabinets

Ah yes sorry I should have confirmed this is for me to make my own kitchen. But I also have a quite a few bits of furniture I'd like to make also so it wouldn't be a one-time use. I also like the idea of being able to easily replace cabinets should I need to. I'm not opposed to getting power...

    CNC for kitchen cabinets

Thanks for the reply Phil. My (in)ability to work to fine tolerances is exactly why I'm looking into CNC's. I've done a bit of woodwork but I'd not be confident doing a whole kitchen. I'm fairly comfortable with software and am assuming (possibly naively), that with the Aribabox designs I'll be...

    CNC for kitchen cabinets

Hi all, I recently came across a youtube video detailing a kitchen build using a 'hobby' CNC router: I'm keen to try this myself using the Aribabox's designs and am looking for CNC recommendations. Budget would be probably £3k but I'm fairly flexible with that. I'm happy to get a kit and...
