Finally finished my first ever piece of furniture using English brown oak and American black walnut. Can't take any credit for the design other than the custom drawer pulls given it comes from https://www.foureyesfurniture.com/. Definitely not covered in clutter already 😭.

Just finished my first interior piece using 316 (marine) grade stainless steel screws into oak. Is this overkill when making interior furniture using oak? Can't help thinking that mass produced oak furniture doesn't use stainless, let alone 316 (or maybe I'm doing them a disservice :)).

Struggling to identify these three which I think are all the same species: I also have some elm which looks similar but the three above I'm trying to identify look lighter with more prominent pores. Any ideas? Elm (I think)

Just spent an hour trying to clean the grease off a new Laguna 14BX using window cleaner 😭. Top of the table wasn’t too bad but the painted sides and mitre slot were a nightmare.

Looks great! I'm considering something similar. How come you've shifted more to the track saw? I'm using my track saw with an MFT and questioning whether I even need a table saw; is the only con that it's maybe a bit slower?
