Hi Phil, no.. nothing inside. Its an amp cabinet, but mostly empty in fact. It's definitely some way the wood is behaving irrespective of anything inside. For eg, the bottom of the wine coloured box Im told is the same as the top, & the amp (& speaker) is yet to be housed into it anyway. Thanks, SC
