Cheers. Done a bit more research now and found others. Do you think it’s worth me getting a patriot Chuck as I’m wanting to do big bowls and platters. Will it make much difference it being a one piece Chuck compared to backplate and Chuck in regards to vibration?

Got an ash table top to finish that needs to match a kitchen. It’s an IKEA kitchen and the ash doesn’t look very yellow like when it’s oiled. anyone recommend a good finish that won’t turn it very yellow?

Thanks for your reply. I’m now thinking to just replace the scores bearing at the back. Hopefully I can source one from one of the links in other replies

The only reason was i though the system looked tired and would be easy to replace. After the feedback on here I’m thinking maybe just replace the bearing at the back as it’s had a blade burn a track in it. thanks for your help
