Old knackered Karcher K7.20MX 1.034-850 Pressure Washer

Here's the promised update - well, yes, I got it working. Yeah but, yeah but, it's still got a leak. Someone suggested putting PTFE on the 3 bolts, but I have my doubts. Can't understand why there's no gasket between the machined parts!

Old knackered Karcher K7.20MX 1.034-850 Pressure Washer

Err, I've nearly fixed it. New On/Off switch, 3 x new sealing washers, new piston (from Poland), new C-clip for lance, new cooling fan. Just waiting for delivery of 3 x washers and the On/Off switch. Disassembling the On/Off switch, I found it contained a thermal overload! I can thoroughly...

    Hinge Jig

I bought the Robin Clevett 76mm hinge jig and can thoroughly recommend it :-) https://toolsandjigs.com/products/3-inch-76-2mm-hinge-jig I was quite hesitant buying it, especially since everyone said what 'a piece of cake' it would be to make one yourself, but hey, I had no regrets. It hung 14...

Why the infernal music, if that's what you call it? No music and I might be able to hear what you're saying! A good idea nonetheless.

Old knackered Karcher K7.20MX 1.034-850 Pressure Washer

Hi guys, this is really off-topic, ie, nothing whatsoever to do with woodwork. But I do value your opinions, so here goes: About 20 years ago, I bought a Karcher 'K7.20MX 1.034-850' Pressure Washer while living in France, which gave me many years of good service. One winter I must've left it...

    Festool and Makita Guide rails

Shucks, the Festool 491937 FS 2700/2 guide rail is now [11.08.2024] £301.85 at Bunny's Bolts, and it's collection only, unless you want to pay £341.10 for its delivery! Where can one buy a 491937 at a bargain price? I wonder.

    UJK Router Elevator Needs Avoiding

Hi guys, just revisited this thread after a long time. Yes, on balance, I'd say avoid the expensive, non-standard insert size, UJK Router Table. I'm gonna flog my UJK Table on eBay and buy a Jessum insert at some point. So, can you sages advise me which tables I should consider buying that...
