Thanks everybody for trying to help me, i did purchase a new motor and pulleys from Axminster so i know these are correct, Chas what you say sounds plausible. How do i get it back to factory settings. Micky J.

I have recently purchased a Axminster Perform Lathe, i had to change the pulleys and since then it is going too fast on slow speed, i don't know what i have done wrong. help. Micky J
