    the finished product is (at widest points) roughly -110x40x7 mm tbh i never even thought of knife blanks , i just assumed they would be too narrow , but obviously not . again it's a case of being a fussy git though & i know from when i cut my tiger mahogany into suitable sized blanks i discarded...

    i have looked on ebay but ideally i want to see the piece before i buy it (fussy i know) , & the photo on there never seems to be of the actual item , more of a stock picture . i haven't tried tru oil , but i have a selection of other oils including walnut stock oils . oh & i am in tingley
