The bath hot tap is leaking badly. I've changed the ¼ turn insert, but the leak is still there. I suspect the taps were fitted with flexible hoses before the bath was in situ, so even if possible it's going to be an absolute pig to change the tap. A single tap, not a mixer. Any ideas?

I don't think artificial intelligence is all it's cracked up to be. I had a pop up advert for a product to alleviate all foot pain. It's years since I had feet.
Interesting article on a British carpenter who worked on the building. It's behind a pay wall, it's obviously copywright so I can't post it but but if anyone is really interested they could message me with their email address ...
10w LED less than £2.50p at CPC. Wired to the supply to the motor so it comes on when the saw's switched on.
Incidentally, the coil behind it is nothing to do with the light, it's on the wall.
I've bought one of these, and just ordered another for a present. It's wrongly advertised, it's not "Expert" - I'd have returned the first if I wasn't happy, but for the money a useful little set.

Looking for something else, I read that Chile pine - monkeypuzzle - Aurucaria aurucana is Cites one listed - in danger of extinction. You wouldn't think so looking around Cornwall, they're quite common. Some of the really large ones were grown from seeds brought home by returning miners...
I just got a couple of these - https://cpc.farnell.com/4lite/4l2-1000/floodlight-10w/dp/LA11365
£2.45 a piece for IP65 - can't be bad. The leads could be longer, but hey ho.
Brilliant stuff, but if you buy it check the dates. I've just bought a litre, the use by date is specified as being six months from the date of manufacture. Mine was manufactured 10/23. Through Amazon, I'll get it replaced or refunded.
