Thanks Nev, no I have not replaced them yet I have been using a friends pair of Beats, which I thought were better then my old ones at first, but after using them for a while I have changed my mind and miss the Bose. I think I will have to pop into Aberdeen and try a few other pairs out :roll...

    URGENT YOU ALL READ THIS

Ok Sam, the only reason I asked was to see if the scum had actually gotten into Dodge's emails, in other words read his personal emails to you and used your name. But it looks like he/she has got hold of his contact list. If he had actually used a Christian name I think a lot more people would...

    URGENT YOU ALL READ THIS

Snap we had the same sort of friend, who for some reason put any Tom, Dick or Harry in her contacts and then used to forward any old rubbish she received to us all. The header as you say was unbelievable long. Dodge, I have just been in contact with bt and they claim that there is nothing...

    URGENT YOU ALL READ THIS

Sammy did the message use your first name? It just shows how careful you have to be because I am sure a few people would have fell for a message from a personal friend. Dodge do you know if it was just your account that has been hacked or has bt got a problem themselves? Thanks for letting us...

    Rutlands this time

K, Roger is right your router needs secure encryption (something like WPA2-PSK, type 802.11n) which should be sent up on any decent modern router already, but to stop piggybacking you need to make sure you have your network security key (password) sent up so that no one can come along and by...

    Rutlands this time

DW Toms right about the mobile hacking. Someone could be sitting in a car down the road with a laptop and if your router/account is not secure your computer is at risk to anyone who is that way inclined. Just looking at the networks on my computer there are 2 wifi systems in this area that are...

Replacing woodburner in sitting room. Doable?

If what has been said (re the rules and regs above are correct), which I have no doubt that they are, then they were very lucky that the insurance company paid them out. You know what insurers are like they use every trick in the book to get out of settling a claim. Cheers Mike

credit card fraud today after using Paypal

DW I'd like to know the outcome of this involuntary charge. Also who is asking for it, the seller, ebay, or paypal? Cheers Mike

credit card fraud today after using Paypal

You have to be mad to trust that sort of money to someone who has zero feedback. Is there no protection at all on ebay, I do not know why but I always thought that you had some sort of come back if you are ripped off, or is that only if you use their sister company paypal  You would have...
