    Battery Amps per Hour (Ah)

Thanks for the charging tip, the borrowed 20Ah battery is currently being charged at 10 amps which should be fine 🤞 These bikes were supplied with a charger that plugged into a round 3-pin socket on the frame although that is something that's on my shopping list now.

    Battery Amps per Hour (Ah)

I borrowed a fully charged 12v 20ah battery earlier to see if it would spin the motor up but nothing happened, unfortunately. I managed to find an old multimeter and had a quick Google to remind myself what to do with it  Working back from the battery itself I have power after the...

    Battery Amps per Hour (Ah)

Yes, they are sealed lead acid batteries although I have no way of knowing if they are the originals. They are prefixed with "MV" if that makes a difference?

    Battery Amps per Hour (Ah)

Hi, I bought an electric trials bike yesterday for my 4 year old grandson. It was an impulse buy from an auction. It came with two 9.0Ah 12v batteries, which are wired in series. They are swelled/bloated so I intend to replace them in case they burst, I have seen 12v batteries online with the...

    Flexible hose, where to buy?

Thanks Doug, nice and cheap but adding £9.99 delivery kills the low price unfortunately. I rarely buy from Rutlands for the same reason...

    Flexible hose, where to buy?

Thanks gents, I'll have another look this evening. I bought an Xpelair hose today for £2.99 so I could test the PT and Extractor, it worked great but think it will be ripped to shreds before long...

    Flexible hose, where to buy?

Hi, I need to buy some 100mm flexible hose to connect a Metabo PT to a Charnwood extractor but I'm easily confused especially with all the different adaptors etc. Also, there seems to be several options regarding what material the hose is made of so I'm not sure what is best for woodworking. If...

Tidy garage = less room due to auction win...

Hi all, Sadly, a bespoke Kitchen/Bedroom joinery business went into Administration a few months ago so the liquidators organised an auction. We bought a number of items from the showroom before I got carried away with the 'workshop' lots! My garage is now home to an 8' x 4' x 6' steel rack and...

    Dust extractor, bits and pieces...

Thanks James. I have a Festool shop vac under the Mitre saw bench so I might try to route some 32mm or 38mm waste pipe up the wall, across the ceiling and down to the bandsaw, sander and table saw.

Thanks, so I'm guessing your bandsaw/table saw both have 100mm outlets?

    Dust extractor, bits and pieces...

Hi all, I have a Charnwood W691 dust extractor on order so I'm looking for advice on 100mm rigid/flexi piping and reducers etc. My bandsaw and belt/disc sander both have 63mm ports but the table saw is around 50mm'ish (Metabo TS254M). My mitre saw is around 40mm so I was wondering how the...
