I am more usually found in the turning section than here. :) I am building a wooden shed / greenhouse. 4x2 construction with wood slats over. I am using old house upvc double glazing units into the 4 x 2 framing and have heard that you can just hold them in place with expanding foam squirted...

That makes a lot of sense to me. The other thing that bothers me is all the people telling us what the money we save will be spent on. None of them have the ability to make that kind of decision.

The engineer was full time for Axminster. I am guessing there is more than one as I am covered by the 'South East' area. He came from somewhere near Horsham in Surrey. Shhh Phil

Good lord. Do you not watch 'The big bang' ? The engineer from Axminster came this morning and put in a new Inverter. Working fine now.

Ahh. I was talking about the ones you have a remote control to turn them on with. I have my two Vac systems on them so I van turn them on and off without moving.

I don't remember now Stu but I found some good ones in Homebase at a decent price, They work exactly the same way.

I went to B&Q a few months ago to buy some remote control sockets for my vac system in the workshop ( I had some from them before but one had broken ) They said they didn't sell them anymore but offered me a USB socket instead !!! Don't think I will shop with them again :)

You have got to love Axminster. They think it sounds like a problem with the inverter so they are sending out an engineer next Monday to check and replace if needed.
