    Kitchen Update (worktops in)

Unfortunately Dom I fixed in the sink shelf. The only thing is I left a big opening in the shelf itself and also put no back on the lower section. As for the beading hiltsy, on the first face frame I started out routing it into the wood but to be honest I scraped it and applied it afterwards. I...

    Kitchen Update (worktops in)

Quite a while ago some of you may remember me looking for advice on my kitchen build here. Also advice on spraying was looked for here. Based on the good advice received we ended up with something completely different as first planned. Also the spraying went great, very happy with the outcome...

What do you do for a living then?

I served my time in Sligo as a house bashing electrician. When work ran out there (before the boom) moved to Dublin and started working in the industrial side of things. I spent 11years with the same company, the last five of which was spent testing and commissioning all aspects of medium...

    Electrics for the Workshop

What I find useful in my workshop is a master off switch for all the sockets. All he has to do is run the socket circuits through a contactor controlled by a key switch. Puts my mind at rest should one of my young ones get in there when I'm not around. I also put in three extra stop/start...

    How hard is spraying??

Thanks for the great response lads. Loads of info to think about there. I'm inclined to give it a go myself using some sort of HVLP setup. I'll post pics of the finished product to let ye know how I get on. Could be a couple of months of though as there's so many other things to do as well...

    How hard is spraying??

I just completed the carcasses for the kitchen in the new house. I still have to do the face frames, doors etc.. though. Anyway I though I'd give the guy that sprayed a couple of bits for me before a ring tonight to line him up for a couple of weeks time. To my horror he said he doesn't do it...

    Your favourite T.V. programmes

No.1 has to be '24'. I got seasons 1-4 box set as a present and have been hooked since. No.2 is 'Lost', but as has been mentioned above not as good as it used to be. Neil

    Thanks lads. Neil

    Blum Drawer Slides Question

With full extension side mount drawer slides you leave an inch between the drawer width and the drawer opening for the slides. Could anyone tell me what measurement this is for the Blum under mount slides? Cheers, Neil.

    Compressor/Plumbing Fittings

Jake I'm not quite sure its the same pipe you refer to. This is from their web site If it dosen't work I'm not really bothered though as it was left over from plumbing the house so I thought I'd put it in and see if I could come up with something afterwards. Thanks, Neil

    Compressor/Plumbing Fittings

Thanks for that Fecn. I never thought of looking in Axminster. Our pipe size over here is 14.7mm so I don't think they'll work for me. If only they did the threaded type all I'd have to do is change the compression ring. Neil
