    gazebo

Mailee, I'm thinking of taking on a project like this in the summer. Just wondering about the posts you used. I've been having problems sourcing chunky 5x5 posts. Did you laminate? Also what kind of timber is it? I'm just in the planning stage at the moment so any info would be great. Neil

Most disappointing tool I ever bought

Tony, I think you've just been unlucky. I have one on my DW733 and it's always spot on or within a 0.001 to my digital calipers . Neil.

To Glue Or Not To Glue

Thanks guys for the options, I know normally these type of joints are not glued but I think in this case I'm gonna glue. Ted I'm at the glue up stage of the first one now and even tho I have done some work on the second I'll try and find the battery charger for my camera and do some pics. Neil.

To Glue Or Not To Glue

Hi all, As some here might remember I've just built a new house. We moved in in July last year but the list of jobs ahead me me seems endless. The next thing SWMBO wants done is the utility. I agreed as long as I could make a couple of side tables for a couple of beautiful lamps we got as a...

    ducting suppliers?

Paul thats a very good point about 'plastic pipe is like a magnet to dust'. The avatar is a picture of a demo I was at last Sunday. I live around 250 metres to the left of the Abbey. Our utility company here want to run 400kV power lines around 600m from here. The circle is 2500 people and the...

    ducting suppliers?

Andy, As promised. The dust you see on the pipework is from a lack of a decent hand power tool vac rather than the cyclone. Neil

    ducting suppliers?

Andy, I just used standard waste fittings and made my own blast gates. I have plans to make some new ones which will turn on the cyclone automatically (God knows when I'll get around to it). unfortunately I didn't do this but I'm sorry I didn't. I try and post some pics. tomorrow but can't...

    ducting suppliers?

Andy, I purchased this one from Penn State. I ran one main run of 160mm wavin pipe with 110mm drops to all my machines. The outside diameter of the cyclone inlet is very close to the inside diameter of the 160mm pipe. I sealed the joint with silicone and ducting tape. It works very well with no...

Where to buy decorative hinges? (Ireland)

Paul, I got the cyclone here. I arranged my own shipping with Bax Global after getting quoted silly money by them for UPS. Very happy with it. The workshop has quite a bit more done now but i don't have a fast enough internet connection to update the pictures at the moment. Neil

    Face frame units

Thanks Chipp, I have the one in your first link and highly recommend it. As Jason says and which I think you intend to do, it looks much better to make the frame to cover a full run of units. As to fixing the frame to the units, as Waterhead points out, I too placed the pockets where they...

    Face frame units

Hi Chipp, I recently completed my own face frame kitchen for our new house. This is the link to the orignal thread. Unfortunately as we're fairly rural now, at the moment I can't get broadband to post the completed pictures. Anyway I started off trying to use a beading bit too but I found the...

    It's Alive!!

Byron, Looks good. The only thing I'd say about your outfeed table is to add slots. If you want to use any kind of sled you won't get past the blade before you come in contact with the outfeed table. In my option a sled is one of the most useful jigs you can make for a tablesaw. Neil
