What happened to "How to build a shed Mike's Way"?

Thanks Dave, the picture was all I needed but my investigatory skills can't be up to much as I just couldn't find it on the WH site so thanks again for the link.

What happened to "How to build a shed Mike's Way"?

I have finally received planning permission to build my new workshop and wanted to have another check of Mike's great diagram which has been on this part of the site as a sticky for the last 6-8 months or so and it is gone. Just when I need it! Is there any chance of getting this back up, or...

    my drinks cabinet

What a great project. All you need now is a lock to keep the little 'uns off. My dad was always going on how we pinched his whisky. He has always been a "famous grouse" guy, which I cannot stand. I much prefer a Talisker, Laphroaig or Highland Park. Hmmm. The kids are in bed..........

    Circular saw.

Apart from my drill and my dad's 40 y/old home made table saw (that is H&S's worst nightmare!) I am a newbie to real power tools. But a recent elu mof177 router off e-bay and now this circular saw means I am going up in the world. I have also just been given planning permission for my workshop...

    Circular saw.

Allan, Thanks for the heads-up on the Site saw. I was on the look out for a circular saw but not wanting to spend a small fortune. It has always annoyed me that all the e-bay bargains and the cheaper USA tools are 110v tools (I go to the states on work a couple of times a year and always wanted...

    First table saw

Thanks for all the advice folks. I will just have to curb the "machine lust" until I can save a few pennies :? . I'm about to set off for a few weeks in the sun with no internet, e-bay or forums so I might have calmed down by the time I get back. If anyone is looking to upgrade then you know...

    First table saw

@ Sportique It is good to know there is someone close by to call on after I've bored my wife to death. @ All I have thought - and bought - second hand (hand planes and a router) but table saws tend to be "pick-up only" and it seems that unless you live in Sussex or some such you will...

    First table saw

Hi all. I am a newbie woodworker thinking about new equipment (and there is a lot to think about!). I am looking at table saws and realise that the axminster TS200 and the makita MLT100 get decent reviews for starter saws but I cannot justify the £300 odd pounds to SWMBO until I show I am...

    Workbench top from solid beech

The board looks very flat at the minute but I guess it will probably shift over time. I don't know enough to tell you how it was sawn but it still has the bark from opposite sides of the trunk but the end grain describes a pretty shallow curve and I can't see any heart wood - if that is correct...

    Workbench top from solid beech

That is the exact same bench design I had been looking at but I only had a pdf of the original article. The website link with the walk-through makes things much easier to visualise. Thanks. I will try to post a picture of the timber later.

    Workbench top from solid beech

Hi All, I'm a newbie to these forums but have been reading for a few weeks now and find this a very friendly forum and (I think!) I have learned a lot. If the local council ever gives planning approval I will soon have my first ever workshop space and I am starting woodwork evening classes in...
