We went today. Pleasant enough drive to get there. Vast selection of turning blanks at OK prices. The model wheels were a bit pricy though. I very nearly spent £69 on a set of saw tooth forstner bits. But my lady had already spent a lot in the craft shop!

If it's a decent size, offer it to a wheelwright. Elm was the wood of choice for the hub. I know that a couple of guys can't get hold of it as it's in such short supply
