    Double sided tape?

Next time dont bother with ds tape. This is what happens. Instead use masking tape and superglue. Bit of tape on both peices. Dab of glue on one bit of tape, spray other side with activator then place together. More than strong enough to run a router around and not move and yet real easy to...

    Pocket holes for draws

I have to disagree with you sceptic. This is almost the perfect use for pocket screws. It's one of the very few times where all the force is axial to the screw, which also happens to be the screws strongest alignment. Much like never using a bolt as a pin really. I'm no advocate of pocket...

    Filling large gap under skirting?

You could run the strip under the board and toenail with brads then fill and repaint. But what a parlarver.

    How?

Could also be steam bent round a form. Both methods are used in production furniture. Whilst its fitted in 2 planes, when forming it will really just be 1 plane then angled for fitting.

Sharpening chisels for a complete novice

don't waste your money on the stanley stone, it's a composite and rather loose, I cut a channel in it within a few days from sharping 5-10 1/2" chisels. otherwise, buy what you want. the guide is ok, just make sure the tool is straight and ignore the crappy stamped marks. good luck. :)

    Looking for a " thingy"

Not sure but brass might not be the best idea what with it being metal and abrasive to the flex which i assume will have power running through it. You maybe better with plastic.

    Making Soft Copper Washers

which is precisely the reason I made a set. having spent to much time making them this way because "I'll only need a few" I finally gave in and made the punches. from which point I think I've made about 10. :) typical really.

Cutting circles on a router, how many passes?

Cutting a circle then yes you have little option as you want to support the centre. Ive done it a few times where the pin is in a oard behind.

Cutting circles on a router, how many passes?

Cut the waste, router the least amount of material. A hell of a lot quicker than trying to cut the hole with a router.

Cutting circles on a router, how many passes?

    10. Doesn't matter how powerful you router is, the cutter can only clear so much material.

Katsu trimmer issue - Bit slipping

Its very common with straight fluted bits for the force of climb cutting to pull the bit out.

Katsu trimmer issue - Bit slipping

Im struggling to put 2 words together today. Long story, dont ask. Maybe stumpy can explain better than i can.

Katsu trimmer issue - Bit slipping

Moving against the rotation of the bit. It causes more vibration and high loads on the bit. A but of grease or dirt in the collet along with climb cutting can pull the bit out. As ive just realised you are cutting a rebate, so yes, half your cut is climb cutting. Not the routers fault im afriad.

    ROS to polish car?

Safest car in the world. No matter what hits you or you hit, you are always a minimum of 10ft from it. 🤣

    ROS to polish car?

The polish. Dont slather it on like butter. 10 thin applications is better than 1 thick one. Same goes with wax. I do like an old ovlov tank.
