Depends who you ask. But there is a movement that suggests your number is wrong. Flat earthers are a weird bunch.

    Float glass or similar

https://www.screwfix.com/p/glass-cutter ... lsrc=aw.ds get any size of scrap and cut it yourself. you'll want a glazier rather than a place that sells glass for tables and the like. back it with something like MDF to give it support.

How much for a decent mountain/road bike.

That was fun, I'm glad its all sorted. reckon you've got yourself a bargain and whilst it isn't a hybrid per-say it's a similar wheel size and I reckon you'll find the tyres on there are fine for the time being. the saddles a WTB rocket, I have the very very old version of that saddle that ran...

How much for a decent mountain/road bike.

Fatbike. Made for snow and beachesm thee was a passing fad for them a while back. Never bought into it myself. Bm, if your getting anywhere near the 200 mark cut you losses. This would be a better way to sink your cash. https://www.parkersofbolton.co.uk/colle ... kking-bike 11 in stock in...

How much for a decent mountain/road bike.

Its a 7 speed cassette so, nope. Can you pull the back wheel off and take a picture of the cassette? Hopefully its a freehub which means you can bang an 8 or 9 speed cassette on and change to shimano alivio or similar. 11 speed needs a different freehub, no way you can sqush it on without a...

Best Spray Gun for Metal Painting?

You adjust the head for spray pattern. Vertical for a hoizontal pattern horizontal for a vertical and diagonal for round. You adjust the needle for spray area/volume Have a look at machine mart. You need to know your comprssors spec. Size isnt the issue, its the amount of air it can flow...

    User manuals

For every safwty instruction there is a person who has either: 1. Done the thing warned not to do and complained; or 2. Done the thing warned not to do and taken the manufacturer to court. There are a lot of very dangerous people in this world l, commom sense is a myth.

    Memory man

He only remembers the ones that stand out. Think back. Did you remember to put pants on that day or was it one of THOSE days.

A trip down memory lane for some ?

I dislike BA. Instead i tens to fly KLM SAS or airfrance. Both of which schemes i was platinum with until last year when I reduced my travel to european work by preference and swung to more renewables over o&g work. Im happy to be gold or silver with either but fully expect to be blue and ivory...

    Garage finds.

still available here and pretty cheap too. most motorfactors (including the big names like GSF and eurocarparts) stock holts stuff, 2 pots and a swizzel stick for 7 quid last I checked. haven't had to lap a set of valves in 15 years, last I did was on a pug 205 1.6 gti that we exploded. :)

    Garage finds.

Was meant in jest. it'll be fine, it's all heavy ends with very few light elements to evaporate. Couldn't come up with one about the anti rust nor did I have one suitable for brush softener (that I could say in polite society)

reckon the penetrating oil is done for, it hasn't made it out the tub so it can't penetrate that well. :D

    fixing to paving slab

it's ok, I often wish I had other folks stuff too. :) then I go in the workshop and wish I had less "stuff". still think you'd be better with it flipped over and set in the slab rather than trying to bond it to the top.

    Roof strut

depends on the angle. which I know isn't helpful. from an engineering perspective at 45 degrees the force's are about equal in the vertical and horizontal plane so you'd want to cut it half and half. as the angle increases towards vertical (lets call it 90 degrees) the forces shift to the...

    fixing to paving slab

I wouldn't use a flange at all, I'd overbore the hole and use a bushing. you could use your wall bracket upside down, I'd most likely countersink it in to the surface to give a nice flat top. then glue it in with a decent external grab adhesive. As i'm cheap I'm be more inclind to use a...

    A little thread of calm?

I believe one leads to the other. Comes in a prefabricated bowl as well (assuming it falls the right way up)
