    Highlighting engraving in lead

It's a teeny bit of lead, not worth much on it's own, the scrap man will most likely pay you in coppers. you can way those in too if you want, they've got someones scrawl on them too. I melted all the lead down that came of our house during the rebuild. I made gravity clamps with it. :)

    Woodworking Mornington Crescent

ah but following the agreement by the British standards institute in 1930 that the definition of an inch is precisely, no more, no less 25.4mm and later adoption the american standards association in 1933, I think you'll find that imperial units are based on metric definitions, as such the...

    Woodworking Mornington Crescent

Sneaky use of the trumpingtons variation I see. Well we shall have to see if Steve will allow it but in the mean time I think it should be pushed further afield so "48mm Tsunesaburo".

    Kitchen fitting

Theres no such thing as a perfectly flat wall and plumb wall. So make sure you have a selection of spacers to hold the wall cabinets level. Don't assume your floor is flat and level. run a line and check it, then set your work from the high spot so you don't run out of travel on the legs...

except cyprus was bombs. this was fertilizer. Apparently the port authority has been trying to get rid of it for the past 6 years as they knew it was dangerous but the judicial system made it difficult.

    Beirut bang

ammonium nitrate and it was in a port facility, which means quite possibly bonded warehouse which means no one had any idea what it was or knew what it was but didn't think. it's been sat there 6 years, which suggests they couldn't do anything about it because it hadn't had it's duty paid as...

    DIY Damp Proof Injection

What Mike said. A complete con. Figure out where the waters coming from. More likely to be a busted down spout or a blocked vent than damp. Not to mention filled cavities, poorly fitted windows and outside ground heifhts being raised.
