    ..........

Another great piece Brian but I have to say I'm soooooo looking forward to seeing the boxing hares. I'll get Mrs Bodger to have a look coz she's crazy about hares as you know. Incidentally, It sounds as though you create patterns from photographs. I have some cracking images of red kites you...

    Another Robin

Excellent Phill. Really natural looking and a lovely blend of complimentary colours. Its small wonder that its already flown away ;-) Barry

    Getting detail

Hi and welcome to the forum. Lots of information and support here so ask away ;-) To answer your question "how do they get the blade started in internal work?", yes you drill a small hole just big enough to accept the blade. Then un-clamp the blade (at the top), feed the blade through the...

    Robin Intarsia

Not a problem Phill. Its a personal taste issue and some people can't help talking thorough their dust bag ;-)

    Robin Intarsia

I'm sorry to be the negative one Phill but each time someone adds something to this thread I want to comment but have resisted. I'm afraid I can no longer resist. The general shape looks good but don't you think the breast would have been better in mahogany or sapele? After all, without a red...

    wood sales

I've bought lots of plywood from Hobarts . Their minimum shipping charge is a bit pricey so put together a good mixed order. The quality has always been first class and very well cut edges. Barry

    Something for the wife...

How about typing 'valentine' into Steve's search facility at http://www.stevedgood.com/catalog/index.php - the designs shouldn't be that challenging, hopefully. Barry

    .......

Thanks for your comments Brian, much appreciated. You're making your own patterns now? Is there no end to your talents  I'm looking forward to seeing the other hares once you've posted them. Having cut the Judy Gale Roberts hare I'm pretty sure my wife would like another one to go...

    .......

Hi Brian, Excellent work - as always - and a lovely finish to your pieces of work. As you wouldn't sell me one of your hare's (hammer) I took your advice and made my own . My wife was over the moon with it and thank you for your additional help and advice regarding the...

    Jeanette's Cat Candle Holder

This is our third Christmas living in Germany Andy, and I have to say that I unfortunately agree with some of your comments about the Christmas Markets. My sister and brother-in-law love the markets, as do we, and have spent a week's holiday with us in the last two December's. We've hit half a...

    Tractor & Trailer

It looks smashing Andy. I have, unfortunately, also been found guilty of some of those points. A very happy New Year to you.
