Really nice piece of cutting Steve. Very well done. The lines are all straight and it's a really nice looking finished job. Tick ;-)

W O W . . . . Pete that is beautiful. Well done. I'm definitely gonna make a few of those as soon as the snow goes and I can assemble my new workshop.

Removing a paper pattern from the cut piece

Nice to hear from you toesy. I am indebted to you for telling me about this technique which I now use all the time

Removing a paper pattern from the cut piece

I print all my patterns on to an A4 single label. Stick the label on to the paper, cut out pattern, remove excess label residue. If you find some of the bits difficult to remove just run a heat gun/hairdrier over it to warm up the backing glue. Very quick, very convenient. Barry

Sue Mae ezine and Dremel cabinet

Can't speak for the ezine but I have certainly bought a lot of patterns from her. I'm on her email list and regularly pick and choose the patterns to buy and download. I had assumed that the ezine contained mainly the emailed patterns, which I'd already sorted through, and maybe a few others...

    A Vase

Very nice looking piece Pete. Well done. The finish looks great too. My son is visiting for a few days and he's brought a couple of cans over with him from the UK. He got them from his local Wilkinsons for £1.50 which is much cheaper than I can find here in Germany. I'm looking forward to...

    Gifts & Test Pieces

A mostly good collection of work pieces. Well done. The cat and mouse is great fun. I think linseed or a light varnish will look great. Barry

New garage door sign, my other was an 'L' plate :)

Nice one Martin. Nice touch adding the sun ;-) In a similar vein, my wife bought me a 'sun jar' so I would always have a drop of sunshine when the lights goes out. Barry

    Home Build dust extraction

Whoah . . . if you ever give up the scrolling Gill, you could always go into plumbing ;-) Barry

    Home Build dust extraction

Whoah Geoff. Henry quiet, router table 'acceptable' level, big Numatic very quiet. Geoff, have you ever thought that you might be going deaf . . . I SAID, HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT YOU MIGHT BE GOING DEAF!! Just a bit of tongue-in-cheek Geoff

    Home Build dust extraction

I appreciate that dust extraction is a very important issue for a long and happy life but doesn't that dreadful monotone racket from Henry detract from the quiet pursuit of a gentle scroll Geoff? I'm assuming you also have to wear ear defenders to try to dull the Henry . . . and a mask of...
