There was two wedges left on it, which I’ve put somewhere less likely to become lost!

Vintage Tool Packaging - Nostalgia anyone

Came across this vintage card packaging for hammer wedges, guessing 50s / 60s, in a tool chest of my fathers. Can’t help thinking this type of amusing packaging would be welcome in today’s world.

Argus, Jacob, Geoff, thank you, always amazed at the knowledge members have for obscure items :) It does indeed appear look a fiddle to use, will get it cleaned up, it’s all a bit stiff, but will see what it’s like to use. Hopefully will find some markings underneath the rust.

    Mystery Tool

Another strange item, although sure it won’t be to some on the forum. Turning the threaded end turns the ball joint In the middle and so the hooked end. The threaded end can be unscrewed, revealing a hollow section. There is also a strange opening o the threaded end.

Record Power join the Made in Britain organisation

When I bought my record lathe 2017, a demonstrator from Record Power, indicated that whilst much of their products were made off shore, there was a serious desire to bring much of the manufacturing back to the UK over time. At the time, a fair amount was made in the UK, my herald coronet was...

"Ok who folded the plans the wrong way?"

Not quite in the same scale as some of the others, however, this is the Dancing House, new town Prague, so called as it for some, looks like two people dancing, was on my daily commute when I lived Prague, and took me a while before I could visualise it.

    Herring LONDON

Here’s another & T Herring London, straight spoon gouge. Am inclined to think that this stamp was possibly after Edwin and Thomas parted ways from business and the E was removed, a possibility ?
