Could be that publicly they have to be seen to toe the stihl collection only line but know full well it will lose them business and may be willing to deliver in the background ? Your dealer's advice is my experience also in the last year or two Mark. I had the line strimmer attachment and for £25 or so bought the bits and pieces and brushcutter blade and swapped it over in place of the line strimmer spool, works a treat and easy to do :) Cheers, Paul

Yes, loop handle Mark, not ideal if doing a lot of strimming or brushcutting but not a major problem for the odd half hour or hour here or there, and as you say allows all the other uses where the handlebars would get in the way. Cheers, Paul

After having a chainsaw with fuel line and seals problems I switched to using Aspen fuel in those and hedge cutters, strimmers, blowers etc as I don't use vast quantities. The price difference is eye watering though, the Aspen round here sells for something around £19 for a gallon or 5 litre...

Thanks for the utube link, got rid of another 5 gb ! And now WinDirStat and Windows Explorer both show 87 gb used and the rest free :D So I guess must have been the system restore points and other stuff like that ? Great, so now confident I can get by on a 256 gb ssd drive with no issues...

No formatting going to happen here ! :) How would I post a screenshot up on here of the WinDirStat results ? As mentioned, it shows and confirms what I had figured out, that there is around 80 gb of disk space used, yet when I change the option on that same programme and results to display...

I wondered about whether windows explorer would show everything. I've looked at the Device Manager too and the system is reserving 0.1 gb on the disk, but no other partitions or anything showing. Is there any other tool for this kind of thing perhaps that would be better ? I'll try googling for...

As Rob said Mark, depends what you want to do with it, horses for courses and all that. Bit confused also, Makita don't make green stuff as far as I know, their normal colour is blue, and the quality and specs of that gear is the same as the limited range of black and white they brought out...
