    Hammer combi machine on e-bay

The new ones are very nice, but i don't have a clue what the older ones are like. i'd like to get one but i've got to much money to put into the shop this year damp proofing, insulating, and getting it ready for winter. Maybe next year. Hopefully someone can chime in on whether the older...

Helix cutter heads for thickness planers

It does come out of the planer. So i guess that means it isn't integrated. I live in north wales... surely a long ways from anyone lol. Well Karl's been here so not to far from him

Helix cutter heads for thickness planers

I'm not sure what type it is. I own an older sedwick machine and when i contacted them for a drawing i got no response. The company who i was looking into it with wanted a drawing. When i had it all apart to clean and set up it looked like the head was a one piece.

Helix cutter heads for thickness planers

The ART 100 but it only looks as though they go up to 6 inches long. I need 12 inches long for my planer.

Helix cutter heads for thickness planers

I worked in a shop that had one but don't know what brand. Since i've looked into it here in the Uk to no avail but found a Chinese company that will make them and deliver them to the uk for about $600 us dollars. It is a bit much for me right now but when i can i will definitely get it...

Some one got a hell of...

    Home made ducting for extraction.

This showed up in another thread not so long ago. Looks like a great idea to me, so i got some hard board for about £5 a sheet from a customer and when i get some time i'm going to do the same. The hardboard looks smoother then the mdf. Will be a bit tricky gluing together but will defiantly...

    Fame at last!

lol i hardly think anything i do would warrant publication, i hardly see it worth posting on the forum. I was just curious how the magazines find material to publish. I find it interesting and fascinating to chat with people who have had things published. There seems to be a lot of talent on...

    Fame at last!

Silly question. What is GW? And congratulations, you must be pleased. How did you get it published? I've often wondered how people get things published in magazines. Pedders and Klaus's saws would make for some the center fold that's for sure!!!

Monster Drill press ---- FOR SALE

I would of bought it to if i hadn't bought my meddings as well. This is a "real" drill press not one of those modern ones that don't last. it is worth more then a new modern one in my opinion.

Monster Drill press ---- FOR SALE

I doubt you will find anything like this for £50 on ebay. I looked for a long time before buying a bank of drill presses as i couldn't get my hands on a single one. I'd recommend putting it on ebay as you will get what you are asking for it. This is a quality drill and single phase to...

    Yet another Rutlands rant

This simply isn't true at all. Perhaps you are used to lead times but that doesn't make for good business at all. It is only tolerable. I would venture to say that Axminster and Rutlands do stock everything on their list of items for sale and then some. This doesn't mean vast amounts of them...

WOW!!! I had no idea they were worth that much. Point taken.

    Yet another Rutlands rant

I do expect them to carry what they are selling. Anyone could make up a website sell anything and wait for it to come at the mercy of who ever and plenty do. But you would expect companies like Rutlands and Axminster to carry said tools. When i recently bought my festool table i checked who...

    copies

That was my point. I wouldn't consider 10-20% worth anything considering the effort put in and that is the point. Lets take Brads little side board. How much is he going to make off it? £1000 for three weeks work? Unlike the original maker who has a cnc and knocks these things out? And...
