    AW30S AXY SPINDLE MOULDER

Hi I've recently bought a second hand Axminster AW30S spindle moulder. I've looked for an online pdf of the user manual but can't find one. Does anyone have a link for this or any other info about it please? A video link of how to use it would be great. I've tried Youtube but no joy. Cheers...

    Stanley RB10

Hi John, Having examined the plane I don't have high expectations it was an impulse buy that I am already regretting. C'est la vie. Thanks for your input.

Forget that last request Bod I found them. Has anyone ever used one and if so what do you think of them?

Has anyone seen one of these before? I bought it from a friend who had a bucket full of planes and this was the only one I hadn't seen before, having just stripped it down I can't believe how small the blade is (like one from an electric hand planer).

    Multico morticer question

Hi guys thanks for all your replies. I have checked everything you all suggested and more to a point where I decided it is not supposed to raise automatically. Having seen your responses I am now certain that that is the case. The thing is I have never used a morticer that didn't raise...

    Multico morticer question

Hi All, I've just bought a second hand Multico morticer. When I pull the handle down it works as it should but when I release the handle it stays put and doesn't go back up automatically, I have to push the handle back up. The weight looks like the original one and so does the motor so the...

    Our house!

Hi John, I never mentioned Oradour sur Glane for the same reason you wouldn't like to live there. It's a place that sends shivers down my spine. I have been there a few times, the last time with a guide who told us the most horrendous stories. I don't really ever want to go back there, but I do...

    Our house!

The agents fees here are double that, but people won't pay it and search out houses without the agents to save the fees. So the agents are losing out and I think more and more they are beginning to realise this and lowering their fees and in many instances they are lowering their fees during...

    Our house!

Hi John, I hope you enjoy your day. It is great that the French put so much effort into remembrance. I'm just north of Limoges, moved here almost 12 years ago now. Similar story to yours actually, fell ill and retired here to woodworking. I've just looked at you woodturning website and you made...

    Our house!

Hi Jonz, Shame you have leave such a beautiful place, I love Carcassonne and your house looks beautiful too. Will you be taking all your tools with you or you planning on selling off any large machines? I might be interested as I'm upgrading my workshop. Good luck, Froggy.

    If you had £10k?

I'm sure most of it is exchange rates. They can't change their brochures every two minutes to accommodate the FX.

    If you had £10k?

Funnily enough lately I have been moving more towards hand tools but thought that if I go pro I will have to speed things up, I am very slow with hand tools. The budget is just for the upgrade of my machines. I already have quite a large workshop. am revamping that at the moment but on a...

    If you had £10k?

Just had a look at your web site and your kitchens are spectacular! I think you should open a French branch, say ... around the Limousin area, and train someone up locally

    If you had £10k?

I'm in France and as such get the Euro prices for the hammer stuff. Makes an interesting comparison as they are cheaper (by about £1k) to buy here which is unusual. The exact same items you listed Shed9 are BS (N4400)- €2154 (£1830) TS (K3) - €3774 (£3208) PT (A3 31) - €3174 (£2698) SM (F3) -...

    If you had £10k?

Interesting comments, I expected a comparison of old and new. Although I said at the beginning that this is theoretical, it may be a dilemma I have next year if I'm in a position to start up my own business (a nice dilemma though!). But I am on single phase and most of the good old machines are...

    If you had £10k?

But could you get all those machines for £10k if you bought Hammer/Felder :?: You might second hand if you could find them, but new?
