    charnwood p200 router manual

Don't worry about it Steve. It's just one of those things. If I can't fix it's not worth sending back and I don't want a refund. If you can find the replacement brushes that will be great. I'll have another look tomorrow at the router and see if I can find the existing ones.

    charnwood p200 router manual

Hi Steve, Yes one in the same! I haven't touched it since I spoke to last but decided to either fix it or through it. I remember you telling me it might be the brushes so I took the top off it today, but couldn't see the brushes so searched online for tech drawings or a manual but couldn't find...

    charnwood p200 router manual

Hi, I've searched the net without any joy for a charnwood p200 router manual as I want to change the brushes. I've never changed any brushes in a router before (or anything else for that matter) so I want the drawings to guide me. Can anyone send me a link please? T.I.A. Froggy

    Smoking!!

Hi All, A friend of mine has just brought some wooden ash trays back from Africa and wants to know varnish them, but should she use a heat resistent finish? Would another finish be better than varnish? Anticipating your next question - I don't know what wood it is, sorry! I know that strictly...

I don't have the skills or fitness levels that chap had. I was talking about the video to a friend and said I would send him the link, but then I couldn't find it.

    Alaskan Woodworker?

Hi A while ago (some months?) someone put a link on to a one hour documentary about a chap who went to the middle of nowhere in Alaska and built a cabin with basic tools. Could anyone post the link again please as I can't find it? (homer) Thanks Froggy

Which glue to use to restore old chair

You can buy ready made hide glue from Axminster. I used some in the summer for the exact same reason you need it and saw the chair recently - as strong as when it left my workshop.

    Kitchen Fitters

Thanks for the quick replies. I've ruled out filling or plugging the existing hole and redrilling as I know from experience it gets messy. Doug, I don't know if there is any adjustment or not. I'll take a closer look when I go back. I'll also check that my friend hasn't screwed into the wrong...

    Kitchen Fitters

Merry Christmas to everyone. A friend has just bought a B & Q type kitchen and the pilot holes for the drawer runners (amoung other things) are pre drilled. The problem is they are incorrectly pre drilled causing the drawer to slant. But it's only by a couple of mm and if I drill another hole...

    Thicknesser

Regarding the blade sharpening - check out Steve Maskery's planner blade honing jig: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xIBKp9_hWLo As for the damaging of the bed - I didn't mean to alarm and should have given a bit more detail. Such as, keeping it waxed or using pfte spray etc. helps and I was...

    Plunge Saws

Thanks forthe comments guys.At the moment I use a cheap saw with a home made guide as Olly says. It's not been bad but lately it seems to be stuggling despite a new blade and sometimes it 'sticks' when I'm getting started (it's not a plunge saw). The idea of looking for a compatable guide rail...

    Thicknesser

Just one word of warning if you're planning on putting planks through the thicknessser that are rough sawn both sides. The rough surface of the timber will damage the bed of the thicknesser and then you'll struggle to put the timber through the thicknesser. I know this from recent experience!!
