    Transfers at airports

I booked the flight directly through Alitalia website speccing LHR to CTN so the transfer was already factored in by them in the trip. I will avoid likes of Ryanair et al at all costs. Its very convenient for me to fly direct from Luton to Catania via easyjet but I cant stand them and will avoid...

    Forstner bit and aluminium

I did it. Happy with the result. The forstner bit is not in too bad condition actually, the point has gone but the cutting edges still sharp, not a great shame to replace anyway. Here she is in her intended use. And at rest for the next time.

Single bed for my 4 year old son. Made out of poplar (first time used, nice to work with, very ugly though) and oak detail on head and foot boards. Slats made from American yellow pine. Traditional mortise and tenon joinery and some dowels too in places. Finished with Earthborn No 17 eggshell...

    Price shock

Glad you cancelled I was in the same situation a few months ago at Sykes. They rushed me for £250 restocking fee or something on a £1400 order of ash that should have been about £500. I've used whitmores but they are a bit pricey too. Last order I used Timbersource and they delivered on DX...

The flat bottom hole needs to be about 20mm diameter as it need room to get a socket in there to tighten the M6 nut. I looked at end mill bits last night and 20mm is common but so is the shaft so it wone fit in my drill press chuck. As Devmeister says I will try carbide-tipped Forstner bit and...
