    Oshlun circular saw blades

Unfortunately it has become far too expensive to buy from the UK. The only exception I make is Tuffsaws.

    Oshlun circular saw blades

I have checked with Freud as I'm in Italy, the box joint blades are only available in the US apparently. I believe the same goes for CMT.

    Oshlun circular saw blades

Does anyone have experience with Oshlun blades? They are available on Amazon.com. The Freud version I would like to purchase won't ship to Europe but the Oshlun will. I didn't think the name sounded very American but apparently they are? Just found that they are infact manufactured in China.

    King of the Drill bits?!

I find Fisch cut nicely and last a long time. I have one Irwin brad point and it doesn't come close. Famag are good too but I have never used them.

Unable to remove router cutter from OF1400

It’s a relatively new cmt bit. The writing is still clear and the surface not pitted. It isn’t the first time I have used it either.

Unable to remove router cutter from OF1400

The collet was correctly inserted in the nut, infact the nut unscrews completely but is still attached to the collet. The cutter wasn't bottomed out either In the end, I placed the spanner behind the nut and tapped it out with a hammer, it came out with the collet still attached but bit now...

shop bought fancy furniture, how do they justify the price?

I could maybe understand the price if the construction was a bit more complicated/traditional but apart from the drawer it could be put together with biscuits.

Why don't we use more Chestnut?

Sweet chestnut is the main timber where I live. Beams for floors and roof timbers, heads over doors, doors, infact everything. The ends of boards are often split resulting in significant waste. It isn't as nice to look at as oak and when used outside will stain everything brown when it rains...

shop bought fancy furniture, how do they justify the price?

My son has moved room and I went looking for some bedside tables. To be honest, I don't find this particularly attractive, but how do they justify nearly £2800? I'm not a professional, but this seems way out of line for such simple construction.

    Best router for £500 fish

I second Festool. I had Elu routers for over 30 years. Tried Makita but sold and bit the bullet with Festool. I have never had to pay full price and the dust collection is excellent.
