    Hollow mortice chisels

Search Armadillo mortice chisels, I found another NH supplier yesterday that kept the whole range. And make sure yo buy the correct length. My small multico are no good with my larger morticer.

    Hollow mortice chisels

I have multico and clico, I think the latter are better. There are also Nakahashi from Scosarg and Armacproducts sell 3 or 4 different ranges at various prices. I think you would be better off buying the best you can.

Can't use butt hinges as there is no frame. And only have ledges.

Oak ledged doors, where to put strap hinges

Traditionally I assume the strap hinges would have been put where the ledges are, not below or above the ledges, which I often see in images on the net. Does it matter which side of the door the hinges go?

    Makita or Scheppach bandsaw?

My small Basa 1 has been very good, well under 200 euro at Lidl. But it is just a little too small. I have a big cast iron bandsaw I'm restoring but I would like a small one too. Something like the Basa 3 or Makita Lb1200f. There isn't much of a second-hand market here and more often than not...

    holesaws

The circle cutter on my Basa1 was working perfectly but the blade went bang at end of the first cut. It will be about a month before I get a replacement blade from Tuffsaws.

    holesaws

I have one of these but there isn't enough headroom on my small Scheppach pillar drill.

    holesaws

Bosch as Starret is difficult to find in Italy. I have been. I continually lift the hole saw, which is in a drill press, to clear the dust.

    holesaws

I think I'm going to have to get the circle cutting jig out, for the bandsaw.

    holesaws

I need to cut around 20 90mm diam discs out of 18-25mm ply. I tried with a relatively new HSS bimetal holesaw yesterday and it really struggled, only managed one and it took forever. The ply is hardwood and WBP but I'm not sure exactly what type. Is this normal?
